Ah I love J.C. Leyendecker's stuff - although I don't quite see the comparison between me and him - he's truly a master!
Ed has a really good book on Leyendecker... he reminds me of Rockwell a little...
Know who's a really great illustrator who I think you would like? Sergio Toppi. Google him up and check out his stuff - his black and white stuff especially is truly amazing. He has a great line and great sense of shape....
